Mobile Dating

Look around you and spot somebody grinning at their mobile, cheekily typed something and the sheepishly spy around. We anticipate mostly that somebody must be talking to somebody they like and perhaps even whispering sweet nothings. Clever app makers have now created many dating apps that allow users to view profiles and connect with each other. So i interviewed some friends who used the apps such as Paktor, Single Datings, even WeChat and the verdict is that their expectations when they are texting on the mobile is always higher then when they actually get to meet and theres always the mixture of excitement and awkwardness.. What do you think?

Fainted in the MRT

I have no picture for this one as I was also caught offguard. All I heard was a loud slam as though some luggage fell to the ground while the wide eyed stares of a couple of teenage malay boys gave me an idea something tragic have happened. Beyond the door at the next quarter cabin was some chinese men staring hard at the pile of what looks to me black thing on the floor and as i tried to stretch beyond the chinese ladies in front of me to see whats going on a sigh of relieve as the pile of black thing started to move and seat up. All was shocked and while many contemplates to show concern or not, a fair indian man went forward to offer assistance and help the lady who apparently fainted to seat which a kind chinese auntie offered. Sometimes when something happens like this, what should be the appropriate action? I wondered!
Halal BBQ Pit

I was strolling around a matured estate the other day and was just admiring the beauty of the place and the new facilities being put up, while I was doing that, i noticed 2 Barbecue pits bearing similar signs yet slightly different wordings. While one says to book the pit approach the town council, another says, this is a HALAL USAGE. I was pleasantly surprised at how far our democratic efforts have come to. I agree that to build an inclusive society, we not only have respect each other's religion but also little conscientious actions like these warms the hearts of many. This is the Singapore I know.

Bitcoin is essentially an alternative form of currency that can be obtained and exchanged. All of the transactions are completed electronically with no physical exchange of value. Another words, your real cash becomes virtual.
It works like this:
* Individual initiates a listing indicating desire to purchase/sell bitcoins
* Second individual places a transaction request
* Both parties make the exchange upon agreement of terms (done virtually)
* Funds are transferred to seller, bitcoins are transferred to buyer.
How? You dare to use not? I still prefer COLD HARD CASH IN MY HAND!
