One Sale to Rule it All....
Shopping is one of the most relaxing activity for women but some say most pressured one for men whom will usually be the porter and pay the bills. We love to browse, compare and wait to get ourselves the best deals however when will the best deals arrive? I've waited since the Post New Year sales till the ever so delicious Great Singapore Sale in June, while the deals did not break through the -20% gantry... I waited till BLACK FRIDAY... and still the stiffness of the prices is incomparable... still stuck at -20% now I hope the Post Christmas BOXING DAY SALE will make it to -30% or better still -50%... I think its not too much to ask for a 100% calf leather bag from a good brand. Which Sale would be the best sale of the year?

Comeon.... Shopping Gurus... Enlighten me....

Little India Riots - What measures should be taken?

Little India Riots - What measures should be taken?
The Riot at Little India last sunday evening was a wake up call for Singaporeans. The angry mob was ignited due to an indian worker being ran over by a bus and died. Well if you have been to little india on a weekend, especially on a Sunday, you will notice a roadfull of people and traffic rules non-existent. It was always a nightmare to snail along this particular stretch of road and whats left now are rubbish filled roads with damaged public amenities, terrified residences and lots of footages on the Social Media. Rioting is a serious offence in Singapore and our government will definitely take measures to prevent future unrest and policies to restrict the much given freedom of today's guest workers. However restricting them might in turn reducing the number of workers, thus affecting local business operations. Restrictive measures what are they and Will it helps us or will it harm us?

Showing off his underwear or is he actually a super hero in disguise?

Showing off his underwear or is he actually a super hero in disguise?
It was yet another cold and wet evening and I met a superhero in disguise, yes the bright red underwear is the sign of a superhero waiting for that damsel in distress (oh i pity the damsel). I was not the only one who noticed this, the aunty sitting beside me, indian national standing in front of me and matter of fact the entire cabin full of people in the evening rush hour. Well, seriously I don't mind the sudden flashmob of the full monty right there but first, work out a little, I mean we don't want the flabs to spoil the show, otherwise, please wear a belt or a new pair of pants. Its not your kitchen for goodness sake... Did bring me laughter and spoilt my appetite for dinner!

Do you know that your mobile phones and tablets contain more bacteria than a Toilet Seat?

Do you know that your mobile phones and tablets contain more bacteria than a Toilet Seat?
I was watching a program on the telly last night which talked about the different campaigns that were promoted through the years and one that I recalled with humor was the Wash Your Hand campaign which was brought back few years ago by the hand foot mouth disease. Then this morning, an article from the British Watchdog struck me. It claims upon taking swabs of 90 devices, finding hazardous levels of bacteria that can make us sick, including the E.coli.

One Ipad had 600 units of staphylococcus aureus, which a smartphone had 140, whereby an office toilet only had 20 units. Judging by how closely we hold our mobiles to our faces on long chats and how much fun we had playing or texting on our phones while sitting on the white throne. Now, it is vital to not only consider have we washed our hands but also.... HAVE YOU SANITIZED YOUR MOBILE DEVICES?

Cosplay, is it an extension of our secret dual identity?

Cosplay, is it an extension of our secret dual identity?
Over the last weekend the Anime Festival Asia held at Suntec has annually drawn all the Cosplay lovers to dress up and attend this convention / exhibition looking like their favourite character mostly Japanese. Sadly, these doll faced character with huge deep mesmerizing eyes with their cute poses with cool looking clothings are more sexy than cute. Designed with super short butt revealing skirts and tight latex wrapped exploding chest, armed with huge Knives and other anime clothings, acting out expressions and moves that might seemed cool but ridiculous to some. It made me wonder, if these anime character and the cosplay dressed up community a misled expression of their fantasy? Is it healthy to indulge in a secret dual identity?
