With a traditonal mindset of vegetarian food being all boring and not that tasty, a trip to this beautiful restaurant totally changed my perception.

This vegetarian restaurant is located strategically beside the newly soft-launch buddhist temple - Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum. Hence, it's not difficult to locate this restaurant.

Stepping into its second storey, you'll be kind of surprised to find it's interior beautifully decorated with mirrored walls and classy furniture. A restaurant totally different from my typical mindset of vegetarian restaurants. "This one is really classy", I thought.

However, looking at it's menu, you'll see familiar food items like hor fun, fried kang kong etc. I had their 'fish' hor fun and frankly speaking, it was GOOD. Though the 'fish' was mock meat and made up beadcurd stuff, it was delicious. Especially with the unique chilli sauce that they have there? *mm~* Delicious! :)

The other dishes ordered were also fabulous. OOH especially the mock fried sotongs they have there. Wow, it was exactly like the 'real' sotongs we usually eat. All tangy and chewy, yet also crispy and tasty as it was fried. I was seriously impressed at how the chef actually managed to create 'such a miracle'. Haha..

The staff was quite friendly, and are willing to give you opinions as to what to order. And..price wise, it was a little pricey, but..I think the food was quite worthy of the price paid.

Vegetarian food doesn't have to be all fried & oily mock meat and vegetables only, u know. Try this place out and your perception on vegetarian food may just change.. :)
