Ya Kun Kaya Toast has always been me and my mother's favourite place to have a cup of hot brewed coffee and toast. Luckily for us, especially for my mum, there is 1 yakun franchise outlet located at lot 1. She would always, without fail, have a cup of coffee before heading to her work place.

Normally, I would order a cheezy french toast set which comprises of piping hot, aromatic Hainanese coffee, crispy cheezy french toast and 2 soft-boiled eggs. My mum would just order 1 cup of coffee and we would share the food together.

I would say, the Hainanese coffee is definitely nice. It is not too sweet. When it is hotly served to us, we could smell the aroma which diffused into the air. As I am a cheese-lover, the cheezy french toast tastes just great to me. As the toast is charcoal grilled, it is rather crispy.

The outlet is air-conditioned with traditional tables and chairs and displayed pictures which are hanged onto the wall. A comfortable place to have a sip of coffee. Of course, during peak hours, the place is rather packed and one may have to wait for empty seats available.

The prices there are definitely slightly higher compared to those sold in coffee shops and hawker centres. The staff over there are rather friendly and polite too.

oh i had visited this blog store before as recommended by a friend of mine. To me, I think the shirts and dresses are fashionable and some are rather vintage-style. Their stocks are pretty nice. The prices range from S$30 and above for most of their stocks. However, it think they are rather pricey to me (as a student). Sometimes, they do sell bags, tights, shorts. If you really love any of the shirts or dresses from their blog store, you have to hurry and make order with them because their stocks are limited and sold pretty fast. :)

It was rather crowded when we reached there. As it was my first time having thai cuisine, I let my friends to decide what to order.

We order fried chicken wings whereby the bones were taken off and some ingredients (I'm not sure it was but it tastes rather good), thai pineapple rice, thai-style noodles( it tastes rather local to me, nothing special for this dish), tom yum soup (it's great. Quite spicy and salty, that's why it must be eaten with plain rice) and thai-styled sweet sour sotong (it's nice. worth trying).

The service is good and the staff there are rather friendly and polite. They will also recommend to us their restaurant's popular dish to us too. The price is also reasonable.

If you are craving for Heng Hwa food from a region in China's Fujian province or still fretting over where to bring the elderly to eat, this is the place you can consider of.

Some of the chinese dishes I think are worth recommending:
Fried crab vermicelli- The flesh of the crab is fresh and firm. The vermecilli absorbs all the crab gravy which makes it tastes even better.
Xin hua bee hoon- Fresh and sweet clams, fried seaweed, fresh juicy prawns makes the beehoon taste simple and sweet.
Fried yam with honey and sesame on it- A unique idea to put honey on it. It tastes sweet. Simply a great dish. It's my first time to eat yam in such a way.

it depends on what you order. I can't remember the exact cost but generally, the prices are quite reasonable.

I was heading down to this outlet with my friends for a chill. We were warmly greeted and welcomed by one of their pleasantly polite waitresses into the place. The service was rather slow. We chatted and had waited for around 25 minutes but our orders had not been served to us yet. And so we had to wait patiently. However, the waitress apologised to us when our orders were served to us one by one. Green apple and Mojito Mint Soda tastes great. But the ice coffee tastes rather bitter. Prices are rather reasonable as the environment is rather cosy.
