Citispa (Hougang Mall)

This is my 1st time as they are new as well. I got the discount coupon from I-weekly, S$15 per treatment, a total of 15 treatments together.

When I ring for an appointment for the day itself, I was told v fully booked but 1230pm and 4pm slot available. Weird, dont know how they interpret as fully booked but still got that 2slots and also i was asked if i understand chinese as the counter girl wasn't able to speak english.

After explaining to me the treatments on the coupon, I booked for 3treatments, a half hour back massage with steam bath, a O2 facial and an eye treatment.

When i was there, I was given a form to fill up and was asked to buy all the treatments, I told the girl I want to try out the 3 treatments before I decide to buy the rest anot, a very annoying face was shown to me.

I was given a locker to put my clothes and was changed into a robe, taken to a room to start my massage. The aunty was very rough with her actions, the massage was firm but it's her actions, when she put the massage oil on the bed i could feel the 'bang' virbation and throughout she's just so rough, it's because Im paying $15 only??, that's my thought at that moment. She also ask me to find out if i like to buy their full body massage during the massage. When the massage was done, she lead me to a steam room, she try pushing a few buttons on the panel of the room for 5mintues, nothing happen, then she went out to the corridor and start to look for help, saw a lady walk past and ask her how to operate the machine. The lady replied her in front of me, ' aunty i just start work yesterday lay, today my 2nd day, you asked me how to operate' ohoh... my god, to talk infront of your customers like this... no no :(

Finally when the machine start to operate, which should be around 20mins but i saw the timer already 35mins, and it's not stopping and no1 comes to knock on my door. End up, I stop it myself and take a shower, put on my robe and went to the corridor to find anyone to lead me to my next treatment. This is my 1st time ever have to stop the machine and find staff instead of them waiting to lead me.

During the facial, this young lady was telling me my face was very dry and need more facial and kept telling me to buy their facial package. I told her I will think about it after the facial. Throughout the 1hour facial with eye treatment, the door kept opening and closing behind me, the cream and oil and machine are not in the same room, someone will blend the cream and oil to bring in. I thought all these should be blended while I in the steam room, all these should be prepared in advance. I couldn't sleep or rest at all.

Finally it's over, I know another challenge to come, that's the hard selling part. True, Im being lead to a room, a lady show me all the packages and tell me since Im using the coupon, they give v good rates for customers with this coupon.

I told her honestly, I come because of the $15 treatment, Im not here for the package, she then tell me then I should buy all the treatments at $15each which is applicable on the day itself, after that, not allowed to buy at $15.

I bought 2 other facial at $15 each not the rest, as their treatments mostly done with machine, I prefer handwork. I bet when Im there for the 2facials next 2months, Im sure to have to go through the hardsell again.

Honestly after the 2 facials, I wont go there to visit again. The counter lady is not friendly, no smile at all and the tone she speak is like ' u want to buy anot' and the massage is not good also.
