what impressed me the most at hip diners at bugis junction is not because of the food, but the extremely good service i received.
there was a malay uncle who gave us a super wide smile when we entered the restaraunt, as if we are his long lost siblings or something.
recommendations and the days special was being introduced quickly and clearing, giving us ample time to look at the menu. my friend who was the birthday boy was offered some slightly higher end ice cream, couldnt remember the name, FOC.
food was served quickly, maybe coz there aint much people around. but the staff attended to us almost within like 5 seconds everytime we signal to them? its just either the service is really good or they are just too free they are glad to have something to do?
nevertheless, i enjoyed my food too. gigantic burger, delicious! pricing, slightly high, but still affordable.

One day, I had this craving. Yeah… craving again… This time was for Billy Bombers. I was at Bugis with my Dear, thought that Billy Bombers was still there after renovation. Instead of Billy Bombers, we found Hip Diners by Billy Bombers. So we decided to give it a try since its by “Billy Bombers”.
We order the puffy soup which I first ate it at Country Manna.Not too bad, just a bit oily. The clam chowder is a bit diluted though.
Spicy wings. Marinated in Soya Sauce. Nice.
Onion Rings & Fries. Still prefer A&W onion rings, which is really ONION RING inside, and not mashed onion paste. Fries - ok. Normal.
Couple’s Trio. Good. I am not a fried fish person, but I quite like their fish.
Pricing wise, I find that is a bit on a high side. :p

i think the items here are more costly as compared to billy bombers. the cheese fondue with french fries,onion rings and chips was quite good. However, i think the original billy bombers is better
