At IMM, only the basement and first floor appeal to me. Because what's sold on 2nd floor on are mainly furnitures and household appliances.
At the basement, more prominiently is Giant supermarket. It's really GIANT! A good place to go to if you're preparing and buying food for bbq. Their market has almost everything you need! There are also many other food stalls at the basement. Yummmy.
Then, there're the apparels shops. Esprite outlet, where prices are a little lower. there's also adidas, fox, G2000 etc.
Located there are also restaraunts like Fish and Co., Ajisen, Pepper Lunch etc.

IMM is a great and wonderful place to shop and eat, IF (a big if) you can 1) Get there without private transport. 2) Actually get a parking lot.
I drove there today at around 6:40 pm, and after going round and round the carpark for more than 20 minutes, I was forced to go somewhere else to eat.
Other than this, I love the variety of food in there, and the layout of the shopping center.
Hope they improve the parking situation soon!

I've been there often recently.Though there's no cinema there or other form of entertainment I can spent about 4 hours just shopping.
Many people will find it inconvenient to get there thru public transport. It's about 5mins walk from Jurong East Mrt. However, if you are lazy there's free Shutter Bus Pickup Point from: Jurong East MRT, Clementi MRT & Boon Lay MRT. You can surf their website for more details as well.
What shops are exciting there? For fashion there's Adidas, Aries, Baleno,Bata,Bossini,BYSI,City Chain,DMK,Esprit Outlet,F.O.S,Fox,G2000,OP etc... There's many stores just to shop and with your CapitaCard there's instant rebate where you earn as you shop.
For every Singaporeans favourite the time to eat. There's a wide range of food and beverage stores available there for your dining pleasure! Ajisen,All Time Favourites Kopitiam, Andersen's of Denmark, Bali Thai, Burger King,Coffee Club, Fish & Co.,Four Leaves Bakery Caf' Restaurant , Ichiban Sushi, Long Beach IMM Seafood Restaurant ,Long John Silver's, MOS Burger, Pepper Lunch, SECRET RECIPE, The Cafe' Cartel Wan Chai Hong Kong Tea Room etc.. There's just so many stores to select from in just another one roof.
If you're looking to stock up for the week or during the holidays there's Giant. Another Megamart where you can get all and what you need at a reasonable price.
So if going to town or staying in the East is boring drop by IMM and discover it,and find out if you like it there or not.
Be sure to shop till you drop and spent several hours there!Great place to go definitely enjoy the time I spent there!
