I went in a group of 4 on 7 March 2008 for dinner. I'm abit disappointed that the restaurant no longer serves dinner steamboat.

The decor of the restaurant did not change, it is the same as the previous Chinese restaurant they took over. However, the ambiance is good.

We ordered 5 dishes:
Braised Beancurd Skin with “Dang Gui” served in Casserole
Braised spicy eggplant with fried man tou
Cauliflower with Mushrooms & Capsicums
Fried Rice with Diced Pineapple
Braised Ee-fu Noodles

Maybe I have high expectations, cos their previous steamboat buffet was really good. The 5 dishes did not really left us a "wow" impression. They just taste "so-so". The servings are very small. Each dish cost above $16 . The total cost for 5 dishes were $126.00 (including refillable tea). I will only recommend Braised spicy eggplant with fried man tou. It has salty and mild spicy taste and the gravy match well with the fried man tou.

I think I won't go back to this restaurant again. I find the food are quite oily. I still find Roma's Vegetarian cafe at Ang Mo Kio served the best vegetarian food. (Very affordable too!)
