One Rochester is amongst Singapore’s most popular plush retreats and one of its very first Gastro-bars. Chill-out beats and smooth jazz make One Rochester’s tropical environment the ideal place to getaway and unwind amidst lush botany and softly tinkling fountains. With 280 fine wines, 200 cocktails, 32 beers, 35 tempting nibbles and prices that won’t burn a hole in your pocket, dress down and allow them soothe your soul!

Developed and helmed by our Executive Chef, Christopher Millar, "Roast" presents a totally new communal and ala carte menu. Roast‟s new communal menu was conceived on the simple fact that a beautiful meal is more so when shared with loved ones. The menu includes an extensive offering of entree platters, crudites (raw fresh vegetables), pasta, roasts, dessert platters and a selection of artisanal cheeses gorgeously presented to be shared.

    Dear Raphael794,

Thank you for your comments. We do appreciate your time and effort in giving us your feedback. We believe that such feedbacks will only help our establishments serve our guests better.

We do regret to hear that your experience on that particular day was an unpleasant one. One Rochester has been a recipient of several service awards and accolades and this lapse in service incident is something that we view seriously. We had looked into the matter and had since counselled the relevant employees on their management of the incident. Being a firm believer of quality service and in our people, we wanted to ensure that such incidences do not occur again.

Our staffs are usually trained to inform all customers on any ongoing promotions that our establishments are involved in. As for Citibank's Platinum discounts, it is not an exception as Citibank Platinum dining programme has been an on-going promotion for the past several months (till the end of 2009).

If you have any further queries or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact Diane/Stanley at One Rochester 67730070. Alternatively, you may
wish to contact Christian Salles, our Group Operations Manager at 94680100.

    Yours sincerely,

    The Management Team

    One Rochester & 1TwentySix

Went there with a group of girlfriends. This place is cool for chilling out,had a few drinks and snacks. The interior is very princess-y and dreamy due to the furniture. Will try their pavillion seats next time

Service is excellent here. The staffs are attentive and take their time to explain the various selections they have here. Most guests were seen to spend a little longer time with the drinks menu. Why? Because there is available over 280 wines and more than 200 cocktails and mocktails to choose from and you cannot order everything in one night! So take your time, they won't mind it. We tried the te vodka-based Zack's Killer ($14) and the Daiquiri Ice ($14).

The food selection is also interesting. Mostly finger food and heavy finger food. We tried the Rochester's Famous Sinful Pork Crackles ($15) which truly lives up to the 'sinful' part of its name. Imagine eating layers and layers of roasted pork coupled with their special sweet sauce. It is not something that you would proudly tell your doctor if you do have to go for a regular cholesterol test!!!

If you want a proper dinner, you have to make your bookings in advance and let them know so they can prepare a special set dinner for you! And it really is special!

The funny thing about this place is that although we were dining outdoors, there seems to be no sign of mosquitos. Apparently they have installed some state of the art equipment that repels the mosquitos. Either this or the mosquitos have tasted too much tequilas and are sound asleep...:)

Definitely a place to relax after a hectic day at work. The nice tropical surroundings make this place a must visit for the "adventure" seeker. If you drive, you might want to go early as there is limited car park space here.

The place is just amazing! My girlfriend brought me there and it just blew me to bits. How do they keep the place so cool and mossies free? From where I come from, there is no place like this.

The drinks were great. There were 8 of us and we were able to get through 6 bottles of wines and umpteen martinis. I particularly liked the fact that they will come up with special drinks for you based on what you like and how you are feeling.

The food was only ok, but we were told that they have just managed to convince a celebrity chef to join them and he will start cooking from October onwards. Apparently they sold an art dinner for S$130 per head under this new chef... the October menu is only S$70 and I am really looking forward to that.

Great ambience and service. A must try!
