A small shop where can find fresh sashimi, to Japanese Tibits etc. The dining area at Parkway Branch is small and limited and the sashimi served are very very FRESH!
I agree both hands up! The attentiveness of the boss (presumably) and his amazing memory impressed me totally, for he could tell me exactly what the birthday boy ordered and hence serve the birthday cake to! In a nutshell, I'd say it's cosy, affordable fine-dining with exemplary service standards!
Do check out their dim sum during lunch hours, especially for those who drive. Was kinda surprised to find their dim sum so reasonably priced. The dim sum I had, was of course, very good.
Service quality is excellent too. I think it's pretty safe to expect friendly and very attentive staff who will bring out a chair near you just so you can place your bag on it! I went on a weekday, hence the place was really quiet and cosy. :)
I do agree with the previous post that the food is delicious and relatively good price for its quality; however I wonder if they are under staff? It is quite crowded here especially during peak hours. You may have to wait for 15 to 30 min for a table. Service is not as good too probably due to the crowd. I did not get my warm water served until I repeated my request from 3 waitresses.
However, this place really has good food. I really like it. Unless you mind the slow service and long queue, this place would be a must try!
I won't say that this place has everything to offer. It has a huge bookstore, great for readers of all genres. There are also some art stores at the higher levels, with specific art materials to be found. There are the fast food centres and food outlets around the place; however, apart from these shops, the rest are more of high-end boutiques like Hugo Boss and Armani Xchange, or slightly cheaper (relative) alternatives like Zara. Perhaps if you're searching for cheaper things, NAC is not exactly the place to go. Perhaps neighbourhood shopping malls would be better.
True to its name, the curry puffs they have are really fantabulous! Its fillings are always delectably moist and the skin's actually thin layers of flaky crust. It's a light snack not to be missed! And not only do they have the traditional flavours, there are wacky ones like the creamy durian for the more adventurous.
I simply love the way they categorize and display their stuff! Scrapbooking lovers will definitely find something to buy with their wide selection of US-imported acid and lignin-free patterned paper designs, cardstock, albums and a myriad of other scrapbooking embellishments! Scrapbooking workshops are also available from time to time, though I've yet to attend one.
This is the place to shop when a scrapbooking idea hits you in the middle of the night! Their product lines are pretty extensive and relatively cheaper than those you can find in the stores. The owner, Julie is really friendly too. I was impressed when she called personally to check on my online order!
This shop basically sells roadside snacks that, from the name, I assume are popular snacks in Taiwan. They have things like fried chicken, oyster mee sua and some other snacks. It's not bad and the price could be said to be just a little above average, if not just right. The only bad thing is that there are not many seats available at the various outlets other than the one at Cathey Cineplex and Cineleisure.
This shop can be found at various places such as Cathay Cineplex, Cineleisure, Far East Plaza and Hougang Mall (I think).
Gaming shop at the IT Mall. Staffs are knowledgeable and prices are competitive too.
Spend more than $400 within a year and be their Life-time member. And you can enjoy discounts, pre-orders and many more!
