i HAD a pretty good experience till an accident happened. I think the problem lies in the new filipino staff they employeed.
she followed me everywhere, and introducing things out from script. and she was basically hardselling.
when i decided to just get two items and decided to go to the counter to pay, there were many other items there.
when i ask whats those items for, she mentioned something like ''didnt u say u want to buy these?'' i duno if i am mad or does she have problem listening to instructions. i had an little arguement with her over it, paid for my initial 2 items and left. and guess what, when i took out the items at home, i found one less. meaning she forgot to pack the other one in for me. and when i called the next day, i dunno if its the same woman, she said people do their inventory check yesterday and didnt find any extra items. inventory check huh? i decided to let the matter off as i did not wanna see their full of excuses face anymore.
secondly, i found another reputable store selling the same items at a much lower price. then did i realise apothecary xv items are overly charged. just my experience.
It is really with much frustration as i am writing this review.
I wanted to try out the highly-raved Amore massage service. So I called them up one day and asked for the price. The lady told me there was some $50 discount which I could not exactly remember what was it about. But being a customer, no one will refuse a discount so I gladly took up the offer and made an appointment.
Everything was nice till the paying part. There was this girl who was in formal wear, maybe their PR or something was trying to sell me their packages. She too, mentioned about the $50 discount. So when I mentioned I need to consider about signing up the package and left the place, I got a SMS from her.
She told me that she mistaken me for someone else and I do not have the $50 discount. Coincidentally, I left my debit card there and she told me she had to void the initial bill and bill me again without the discount. And when she sent me the SMS, she has already billed me, without informing me earlier.
I called back and explain that the lady who took my appointment mentioned about the discount and so did the PR lady. But after some 'investigation', the lady who took my appointment denied saying anything about the discount. The explaination the PR lady gave to me was just that it was a mistaken identity and she had no choice but to charge me the full price.
I wrote to the management of Amore and its been a week and I have yet to receive a reply. A 'mistaken identity' is not an acceptable explaination to me. In fact, I felt cheated of being told a discounted price, and only after my treatment, I was told of another price. And I was being billed without my consent.
Just my bad experience, maybe someone else had better experiences there. But I'll never go back again.
heard of many good reviews about it. i got almost the whole set.
but frankly, i think its rather overrated. i mean, i dont see what so fantastic about the outcome. No doubt it'll be suitable for people who dislike ingrediants like colouring or fragrance.
but personally, my favourite is their total eye care. it has spf, moisturizing effect and can be used as a concealer.
ive read many good reviews of jurlique's hand cream online but its super expensive. its till i waited for my cousin to bring it back to me from australia (its an australian brand), id say i love jurlique!
all their stuff are natural (supposedly), they smell great, and frankly speaking i do feel the difference just after using it once. thats how much i love it!
but frankly its still too expensive for me so i didnt get their full set. the only branch i know that sells jurlique is in ck tang.
highly recommended!
yeah i do agree that knowing artistry as a MLM brand didnt give me a good inpression initially.
but i just gave it a try since its so cheap.
i bought 2 items from them:
Intensive Moisture Masque - I quite like this. It can even by used on lips. Lips felt so soft afterwards and it has light scent of nice fragrance. definitely will buy it again.
Replenishing Eye Creme - its said to have visible results of lightening of dark eye rings in just a day. Nah, not true. But what i like about it is that it doesnt sting your eyes, and its light and absorbed very quickly.
Clarifying Toner - I bought this for my boyfriend's oily face. and of course, being a man he wont like such things. but he did tell me that the toner does help in tightening his pores a little and his skin is not that oily as before.
Im thinking of changing my skincare range as they are so expensive (im using dermalogica) and the intensive moisture masque, id say give about the same results as dermalogica's intensive moisture masque.
