My mom brought me to try that locally famous (for now) dessert hut near her workplace in Chinatown that day, I heard big fuss about it from my friends and from TV.

My mum had the Walnut cream and it was hella fragrant.
The waitress auntie recommended almond and sesame cream (mixed, they called it yuan2 yang2)....

Personally, I am a bigbigbig fan of almond flavour that some people hate...I hate mango, but I have heard the Mango chilled dessert is awesome too...

Though the Sesame was great, it was really rough on the throat, it made my throat realllllllllly DRIED Up...and the almond didn't really help.

I ended up only drinking the almond center....superb.
Was no more than $2.50...was really cheap.

Next time the xmas gift for my whole class will be dessert right to my school LOL.

Then, it was saturday so there was the steam egg custard, aka 'dandan'...

Though the ones in HK are better, i guess it's the best i can get in sg....

    Slurp!

    anytime again!

(P.S. Heard that those almond walnut etc are all grinded by the dessert house by their own machines they invented!)

      Hmmm...
It is almost never disappointing to eat at this HK cafe...esp the Cineleisure branch.

Although the cine branch is always packed esp weekends, the manger never fails to smile and come around for a chat and get me and my friends seats...

His name is Alan and he is some mixed blood uncle...very fatherly and concerning for the customers...unlike his assistant manager...cant even manage to make smart conversations...lol.

He made excellent recommendations like that french toast, that muah chee daosa dessert, century egg congee and he added egg for me on the house...and the surprise came when he gave milk tea on the house again....:)

      Love him so much....

I brought my boyfriend over and he talked to him as if he was my father and stuff...so loving hahahha...

and he seems to work everyday all the time...

Best branch, best manager of all

I havent been a fan of donuts....
but I was just attempting to get some for my colleagues while trying one myself...

First thought...they look really delicious and sweet, must be nice...
      Glossy, yummy-looking...finger staining...

After I put it in my mouth, I cringed at how sweet it was...
Too sweet for me...maybe I am not of a 'sweet' person...
But it's like sweet to an extent that it's like how sometimes a food is too salty and you will not swallow it.

Some of my colleagues complimented that the donut is soft, unlike other donut places...
some mentioned that the taste is good.

      But overall, my verdict,

Too expensive for a mediocre diabetic donut.

I didn't even queue for it. If I did, it'll be more of a waste of my time.

How can I have NOT review CDM?!!!

Ok my manager brought all the Lunar parttimers over to CDM and he opened up the just-washed-jacuzzi for all of us.

Smells like any other chlorine water, and the finger food was a alot better than Lunar lol.

The cocktails was kinda good...but it's the atmosphere. We went on a weekday, not much people were there...but it's a really sexy feeling there...

Anyway it's a place to chill, if the crowd is not right, bring your own 'crowd'. That's the point about chill place ain't it?

anyway I found love there too :)

They have awesome sandwiches...that are hearty and fresh, and expensive unless u have staff discount haha.

But I have had their Baileys Ice Cream and some others and made us girls very very happy.

Their seats and tables looks edible...pink and white..and others look like stolen from Clinic. LOL

Their chocolate cake (sorry I forgot the real name) was a blessing form heaven and you can almost orgasm in the sweet way from one mouth.

It's just so rich that you feel so taitai after everything haha.

      and alot poorer :(
