First visit: seasonal veggies and spinach tofu set. Loved it, although at $8.90 it's a bit more expensive than the other sets. Small price to pay for being healthy, but its ok (:
Second visit: Just Dumplings set. At $5.90, it's a light but satisfying meal (:
Third visit: Spicy chicken bibimbap. BEST bibimbap i've had in Singapore so far. I was shocked. There was a generous serving of red pepper sauce, and with the well-marinated spicy chicken, it was just awesome. Usually I don't finish a full serving of carbs (evil carbs!) but with this, I couldn't resist.
The consistently great bit about eating at JustAcia is the free flow soft drinks, hot drinks (coffees, teh tarik, hot choc), soft serve ice cream (choc, vanilla or mixed) and regular ice cream (love the sweetcorn).
had their original frozen yogurt with oreo and honey oat crunch, super delicious. creamy, yet light and satisfying..its really amazing. best eaten with a girlfriend!
one topping for 1.20, two toppings for 1.80. best to get two for fickle minded people. i would reccomend honey oat crunch with peach though. the oreo crumbs are rather dry and tasteless initially, but towards the end when everything becomes a melted mess, then it tastes not bad. one thing i like about yoguru is that it doesnt melt too quickly (:
the only downside (other than the fact that its not cheap) is that theres no proper place to sit and enjoy, other than the fountain..or carrying the cup around and shopping.
super crowded, with rather cramped seats when i was there ):
but the food is really good (: had the beef goulash soup set with penne salad and iced tea. was a bit shocked to find out the bill was 10.90
anw the beef goulash is really heart warming, simple, and full of veggies and chunks of beef. more like a stew than soup, really. came with a warm, soft roll..the combination of the two is really heavenly.
the penne salad was alright, penne was abit rubbery but the mushrooms that came with it were absolutely gorgeous. indescribable. take one bite and it bursts with juice.
i would reccomend that the set be shared between two, cos its really too much for one person.
went there for dinner on a thurs night. not too crowded, but we got stuck in an awful location (near the plate clearing bit) because they refused to open up part of the restaurant ): but other than that, service is really good.
their xiao long bao is really good, the skin maintains a great balance between being firm yet soft. fillings are just right, just that i wish there were more soup inside the xiao long bao. gorgeous paired with the vinegar (: $3.80 for 4 i think.
their zha jiang mian is another messy, sloppy but yummy indulgence. slippery noodle with flavourful gravy, what more could you ask for, and at less than $10!
their yang zhou fried rice with shrimp..i think its only ordinary. no wok hei..i prefer the one at victoria street. and cost $10.80.
overall, good food at rather reasonable prices! just dont order the fried rice
their ramen is really good (: the soup is robust, tasty and doesnt feel too oily. noodles springy, and comes with loads of crunchy bamboo shoots, rutan, jap fishcake and snow peas. ordered the ebi wanton ramen set, comes with five fried ebi wanton that is insanely good..but also unbelievably sinful. although there are visible little pools of oil on the wanton, cant really taste it. haha denial.
must order their mixed mushroom soup! its at teh hot plate katsu/meats stall (beside oden stall), it has about 3 types of mushrooms in a soup. the most interesting part is that it comes with a small wedge of lemon, and if you try the soup before and after adding lemon in, its an amazing world of a difference (:
their pork katsu rice (on hot plate) is not bad, but gets dreary after a few bites. for a vegan-wannabe like me, one bite is more than enough
all in all, good food..at rather exorbitant prices, i feel.

The best part? All this for under $10!
