Have only tried their chocolate bowl bread so far, but boyyy it's damn good!! You can really taste the chocolate in the bread, and it's a dark semi sweet chocolate so it's really delighting me with every bite!

With a variety of flavours to choose from, I'm sure there's something to suit everyone's taste buds. Apparently the outlet's a nice place to sip your afternoon tea (I haven't seen the place cos my sister bought the yummy bread home :), so you might want to consider this place to chew on the fresh and delicious bakes while your indulge in your good read on that lazy sunday afternoon!

Phuket's a great beach holiday destination to consider. Easily accessible by air with so many airlines serving the route, you can get to the sunny island in under 2 hours.

The most popular and populous beach has got to be Patong, where every street is bustling with activities in both day and night. The very famous dance and night clubs are also located here, where a stroll down a stretch at night will bring many interesting sights. Beware though when you take photographs of the show girls, cos' whilst they may be smiling really warmly at you, they'll come up to you thenafter to request for a fee for taking their photos.

The beaches may not be as pretty as one might expect it to be, with rather shallow stretches of beach, the sandy bit between the road where you parked your car and the sea could be as short as 10m at certain beaches. Still, the numerous sea sports make these beaches really popular and alive with activities in the day. It's really hard to imagine the tsunami waves once crashed these shores and destroyed countless lifes and architecture...

It's great to have some form of transport so you can tour the island and not just know Phuket for Patong beach, there's certainly more to the island. Taxis can be rather costly if you're relying solely on them to bring you around all the time, so bikes or car rentals are quite highly recommended. You have to be a careful yet gutsy driver to navigate their steep slopes and numerous sharp bends though.

All in all it's a great destination for a relaxing summer holiday. I love it, I hope you will toooo! (:

i like cathay! they're clean, nice and roomy enuf for my legs (:

wads more they often have gd deals with the credit cards and student specials, so it really makes money sense to catch movies there.

though still a little sparse, the shops there are quite quaint and sell pretty special stuffs. and so i enjoy shopping and looking arnd abit just before or after the shows. u don't get the huge crowds jostling around at cathay too. oh, only prolly at the lifts. take the escalators then! and walk past the shops... give them a chance... (:

      49. Mr Teh Tarik Cartel

mr teh tarik, a favourite tea break place for many of those working nearby. it started off as a small push cart kinda stall, and made it big to become what it is now, owning a shopfront of its own.

the ice teh cino and dinosaur-varieties are worth a try, but somehow i'll suggest u keep away from the most basic - teh tarik. i think they have them pre-prepared and stored in jars, so they leave a waxy-aftertaste after sitting for too long. better to get the more fanciful flavours, they're made fresh (i think), or there're other stuffs to mask the waxiness at least.

Am gonna introduce the bah chor mee sua found in this coffee shop. IT'S REALLY VERY GOOD!

Located at the junction of south bridge rd and circular rd (at boat quay), it's really not too hard to find this place. What's special about the dish im raving about is that instead of the usual bah chor mee pok/kia that we eat, they're famed for their mee sua version!

Well, i guess you're thinking it's really no big deal if they merely changed the kinda noods they're using, but i must tell u it's that, plus their choice of really fresh ingredients. For one, they serve their mee sua with anchorvies, and the crunchiness and fragrance of it simply add to the yumminess. Mee sua also absorbs the flavouring better, so every strand is soaked with the goodness.

Especially for those who detest the bitterness found in mee kia/pok, mee sua might just be what you need!
