The waiting time is not an issue to us since we took other items from the conveyence belt while waiting.
We find the Teppanyaki set which includes grill bacon with gold mushroom, chicken wing and squid serve with rice a steal.
The grill wings is a bit dry but the taste of the grilled bacon with mushroom blend in well.
We order salmon skin gukan and fried tofu most of the time. Fried salmon skin is not available always.
With most coloured plate at $0.99, we find it worth the value compared to other sushi restaurants.

We order a large size black pepper chicken and Cajun chicken thinking of sharing with my 2 girls. They ended up eating noodle soup as they cannot take the hot spices.
The large portion was servce with 2 sides dishes, can choose from carrot, cheese potato, colesaw, fries and came with 2 pieces of chicken with lot of fries. Cost was $13-13.50 per plate.
The cajun chicken used breast meat topped with mozzarella cheese and serve with their own Cajun sauce.
The black pepper chicken was marinated with a special tast of black pepper sauce.
We like both chicken as it has its own unique taste.
The staff are friendly and give our girls complimentary fries while waiting for the food.
So remember to order the fish and chips instead if you want to order for your kids.

Now, they do not give free fries now due to rising cost..what a pity...

They serve korean barley tea with refills which taste like bitter chinese tea.
The main dishes we have is the hotpot mixed rice and the Fried korean glass noodle with beef.
My husgand find the Kimchi a bit more sour than spicy.
But we like the fried class noodle as it is not oily and the taste is just nice.
We find the hotpot mixed rice a bit bland bland though we have done a thorough mixup of the ingredients. However, we like to scrap the layer which is burnt at the bottom.
Last is the dessert of yoghurt ice-cream with banana, watermelons and pineapples. We feel getting being bite in the tonuge after eating the pineapple. Could be due to the rawness.
All in all, everything is still acceptable and I would like to go back to try the kimchi soup and the premium set luch which is at $36.99 before tax and service charge.
One more point of compliment is the environment is very friendly and they have background soft music which made a relax sitting.

When i ask possibility to extend additional night in the same taipei hotel as in the first night, the reply i got is that since this is a budget land tour, there is no guarantee that I am able to extend the last night in Taipei and I have to accept whatever hotel that they book. And they have suggested that we take up whatever that is offer in the package and book our own hotel for the last night instead. And even if they manage to book the extension in Taipei, I will have to make my own arrangement to travel from Hualien to Taipei.
Compared to Plant Travel which I finally book the land tour with, they assure us that extension in Taipei is possible and it is with the same hotel which we stay in the first night.
If that staff happen to be in a bad mood, i think it will cause a bomb to the company from the business it has turn away.

After few telephone with these 2 agencies, I ended up taking the package with Plant Travel. The reason being that, the sales staff are very friendly and try to accomodate my request for extension in Taipei itself.
The other agency reject my request outright saying that since this is a budget land tours, we just have to take whatever that is offered.
As we have booked this land tour around 1.5 week before departure, Plant travel is able to provide very fast and prompt service. It provide the package confirmation within 2 days and gives the hotel confirmation 3 ddays before departure as promised.
I would definitely join back this agency for future travel.
