Chippy have v. little variety of choices.

If I dun remember wrongly, they have calamari, fish & chip, cheeze susage with mashed potated, spicy cheeze beef and fried mars bar..

For me, i dun take cheeze so my choices left only... 3 dishes..

The Fried Mars Bars is a MUST TRY!!!! Imagine biting a crispy mar bar... the hot caramel from the bar flow out...and u put a spoon of vanilla ice-cream into ur mouth.... wooo.... This is heavening sinful but is so DELICIOUS!!! Anyway, u can choose whether u like to go with vanilla or chocolate ice-cream. For me, I prefer vanilla coz choco is too sweet...

The fish & chips is tasty too! U get to choose whether u wan to complement with vinegar or the tomato sauce with mayo.

As for the calamari, i find it v. common lo.. Tried once. Nothing special. So nv try again...

I always buy their calamari from all their outlets. You can choose to take spicy or non spicy. It's very nice. Chrispy on the outside, tender on the inside.

But the price is a little steep for the rest. For calamari i think it's ok. Cos it's seafood. But for the fried mars, sausage, and fish,.. Didn't dare to try. But there are quite a lot of people buying it also. As from what I see.

I think the reason why they always have a queue is bcos of they cook the food on the spot. Freshly made right before your eyes. Even my niece ( 4yrs old) says that its nice and tasty.

I will give the calamari an excellent. Worth the try.

Most things sold at the basement of Raffles Link are like finger food stuff, especially made convenient for consumption. I must say that it is a good idea to chop up the fish and chips into small pieces so that it's easy to eat, especially for people on the go. It's quite a common sight in London I think.

Whatever it is, common sight or not, I must say I don't quite like what I got from Chippy.. It was a small pack that cost you $4.60, but nonetheless it was really filling. Why? Because of the batter. If you have to know, I think the fish is just 20% fish and 80% batter. Plus the fact that there's also chips in the bag (that's fried in the batter too), you can't quite tell exactly how much fish are there.

I like the idea and how convenient it is, but I think it's really not that good/ worth the money..
