A cozy establishment tucked away at the junction of Club Street & Mohd Ali Lane.
The bright red logo caught our eyes... and lure us in on a hot afternoon. We had 2 set lunches and I must say Thumbs UP for the quality of the food - value for money @ $25 per person.
I had Salad of Vine Tomato. Zucchini. Crisp Fennel, Fresh Herbs & Balsamic Olive Oil as a starter, the sweetness of the vine tomato was just too refreshing. My mains was Duck Leg Confit, Lentil Stew and Mesclun Greens. Duck has always been my favourite. The salted-cured duck was so tasty especially the crisp on the skin - I must say it's sinfully good... the dessert of the day was a refreshing watermelon in cubes with sorbet... that definitely flushed off the "extra fat" from the crispy duck skin.
My colleague had soup of the day ~ Prawn Bisque ~ the bisque was infused with fresh tomatoes, garlic and onion with a tinge of liquer. Her mains was Pan-seared Salmon Fillet Parsley Coulis and Seasonal Vegetables recommended by the server simply melts in the mouth. The doneness was just right and not overcooked.
The ambience and setting was truly soothing and intimate ~ good for lover's nite out dining.
Overall service was good. Worth going back again to try the premium meat as recommended by one of the server.
