TM have all the good food under one roof for those staying that area without travelling far to the city area. I would say their shopping are good enough for me at the moment unless if you are talking about brand like LV... at least you can find the normal high street brand in this mall. But i feel their parking are quite expensive (getting more expensive) for a far east mall like TM. Not sure how the Capital Land I like their Starbucks atmosphere where I can just sit outside, at least there are still quite some distance from the main road.

Tampines Mall is indeed very crowded, but it is the crowd that makes it vibrant. It is like a mini version of Orchard, with most of the popular stores found in this shopping centres. I like their roof-top garden. Interesting place to explore.
The escalators are the ones that put me off. So difficult to manoveur through the crowd at the escalators if you are in a rush.

Oh my god. Do you know how crowded it is in Tampines Mall. I am just waiting for the new shopping mall / office tower to open on the other side of the MRT station, so that it will ease the crowd at this side of the MRT station.
They try to add more escalators to the basement and to 2nd floor, but there is still too many people around. And, the basement is so full of small stores that I sometimes hope I can fly and not need to slowly walk with the crowd to get to the NTUC Fairprice right inside.
Now, I prefer to go Century Square for the food at the basement. It is a torture just trying to get upstairs to the restaurants at Tampines Mall.
