1) Half Onion Loaf ($8.90), a towering concoction of battered and deep-fried onion rings, served with a BBQ-mayo sauce. This was so aromatic and it tasted as good as it smelled. I didn't really take to the BBQ-mayo sauce though.
2) BBQ Half Chicken ($20.90), served with a corn on the cob and mashed potatoes. The chicken was juicy enough, but the glazing BBQ sauce was a tad too sweet. The mashed potatoes was also way too dry, even the bacon and shredded cheese topping couldn't cure the dry potatoes. This dish wasn't value for money, but at least the chicken was huge
3) Ribs and Fish Fillet Combo ($28.90), also served with the same sides. The ribs were disappointingly not tender enough, and didn't live up to the "America's Best Ribs" promise. It might be the best in America, but definitely not in Singapore. But the fish saved the day. It was flaky, clean-tasting and moist. This dish was overall a let-down, and not worth its $28.90 price-tag.
And of course my favourite window seat, viewing the koi pond and my favourite Carolina Honeys Baby Ribs.
Their service and food is good and fast and I must admit at peak hours dinner time on weekends or public holidays, you might have to wait a little bit longer then usual for seats, ordered or even refilled of water but overall their staffs are friendly and fast.
The environment is very soothing and comfortable, with no loud music.
I have never go to Orchard outlet yet, will go try it out. :)
i like tony romas at orchard. their serivce there is much more better den suntec. their food over there also much more better den suntec.

We were planning on going to The Rice Table but it has long closed @ suntec so I suggested Tony Roma's. Price is a bit steep but I still have the cupon that gives me 50% off my 2nd main.
ORderd side salad and Shared the 1/2 bbq chicken(with a choice of 2 sides), chose mashed potato and fries with my colleague. and we orderd the calamari too and they actually asked if i wanted the calamari and salad before or together with the main. Noticing that i was malay, the waiter even informed me that the salad had bacon bits on top and asked if i wanted it omitted *yay for service*
my colleagues all orderd the ribs set.
Food came in around 10-15 minutes.
We were served with complimentary bread which was nice. reminds me of the delifrance baguette and i liked the garlic spread. Ended up eating the calamari with the spread.
The chicken that came was huge. And it was delicious. Juicy, succulent and tasty. Wasnt too overwhelmed with the bbq sauce but still nice and could taste the tangy bbq sauce. Mashed potato was the 2nd best iv tried(best is still popeyes) loved the gravy which had melted cheese in it and it wasnt salty. I liked the fries too, thin but filling and crunchy. And not laden with salt too.
My colleagues all seemed to enjoy their meals..
Calamari was good, passed my non rubber test tho found it a bit too flour-ey. Think sice I have my voucher I shall return again.
Its servings are enough for two and even then we couldnt finish so it was value for money. Service was good. Kept refilling our drinks and did not chase us out at 11 when they were closing. and I liked the decor, would want to sit at the booth seats next time.
Overall a good dining experience for 12 rowdy people
I was just at Tony Roma’s yesterday. I thought it was some must-go place but I was so wrong. I ordered a ribeye steak. From past experience, beefs that are well done are too tough and hard to chew. So I decided to have my steak done medium. The steak comes along with 2 side dishes, and I chose a Caesar salad and a baked potato. The Caesar salad had a dressing with a sour taste and the steak was really hard to chew like it was over done.
But the sampler appetizer was not bad. The cheese sticks were quite nice and the cheese had this nice chewy taste. The fire wings were kind of hard to chew too, like the steak, but I thought the sweet and spicy sauce was not bad. The sampler went well with the various cream and sauce provided.
But on the whole, I wouldn’t really recommend this place to people. Even though there’s always a long queue, I find that it’s not worth the time queuing and the food is not worth the money. The service there is not very good either. Apart from taking your orders and serving your food as soon as possible, any other requests made my customers do not seemed to be their priority.

Maybe America's Best Ribs, But Not Singapore's
