I simply love Wee Nam Kee.
Well I say, heck with the uncomfortable place and sometimes non-English-speaking (this is important for me, you know!) staffs.
The chicken rice is heavenly.
I love the soy sauce! It's fragrant and a bit tingly. The chicken meat is also soft and nice to eat. Even the rice is fragrant.
And what I love is that in every table they give you sweet soy sauce, minced garlic, and chilli sauce. This means you can mix it to your own preference! For me, I like loads of soy sauce and minced garlic here and there. Damn, I'm almost drooling remembering it.
The place is very easy to find.It's just opposite of Novena Church and just behind the bus stop. It will be very crowded at Sunday, especially after the church's mass is finished, but not worries! For me, I will wait no matter how long to taste their chicken rice =D
They also have other food. I seldom order them. Once I ordered a bowl of dumpling soup and it's also very nice =D I think they also have some seafood and grilled things in big serving, to cater family makan session, maybe?
Chicken rice, that ordinary food, made extraordinary by Wee Nam Kee. Try it! =D

Looking for a delicious chicken rice and haven tried it? Go down to Novena and give it a try.It's near the busstop too.It's a shop on their own and there's air-con inside. The prices of the chicken rice is $3-$4 for normal and dumbstick.
What i find particularly nice about the chicken rice is their soy sauce they pour onto the chicken.Even the chicken rice shop is delicious to drink.Their chicken meat is tender and juicy.
Beside having chicken rice you should try their baby kai lan with oyster juice.Very nice too!BUT you have to eat it while it's hot cos it's nicer that way.
There's seafood besides their famous chicken.They do serve crabs,pork rib,hot plate toufu.They are operating like a normal restaurant.
If you're wondering where to go after cruising around at night this might be a good place to go cos their business hours are from 10am-2am. They have takeaways,Delivery service and Buffet.
Beside listing how great their food is their main flaw is their poor service.The waitresses there can be quite attitude sometimes which can really piss people off.
However,despite this i still return because the food is good!So i recommend this place if you're wondering where to dine next time.
