oh gosh i think i have just been conned... and looking at the price she offered $39 which was supposed to be a 'student rate' is the normal rate... I was also in a rush so did not want to follow her to get that sample. But I needed to shake her off and it's not nice to just walk away like this.
Like what the rest of you mentioned, i did not expect her to ask me to pay on the spot. She started writing on her book and said it's a student price she's offering me and asked me to sign. Then I thought I would pay on the day I did the treatment. She asked me to pay up. I was shocked.
But I really want to leave and thought just give her $39. And for the benefit of doubt maybe they are not as bad as I thought (though pushy), so I was still contemplating if I shd arrange for a session since I have already forked out $39. But I am quite scared cos I dun go for such treatments and stuff. That's why I googled to see if this shop is actually reliable.
But seems like the experience is so similar to what were mentioned above. I really don't dare to let such a con shop do anything to my face... Thank you for sharing your experiences... Will try to get back the money. If cannot then just let it be a lesson learnt. I will not give a minute of my time to listen to these con shops anymore.

To twt,can i say you and fishy are same person ? But i won't ,i dont like to rogue others people.Actually i dont want argue and any tongue fight at here,i"m just sharing my real experience ,and they really treat me not bad ,at there i saw the customers with them have a good relationship,always keep smiling.
Maybe i don't have much experience than twt, so i just sharing my feeling when i saw the effect after done the treatment .
Everythings have two sides,we can't said which is the determined,because this is a very personal feeling,i won't b so subjective .
A lot of people leave bad comments at beauty webside ,example Jeanyip, Citispa .Newyork,but i oso have a lot friends want go there do treatment ,so why they still going? This reflect ,different feeling each others, i trust it ,if you don't want not anyone can force you,if you want leaving nobody can stop you,so why u didnt do that ?Example like twt reaction,i don't think it is because be good people or shy so didn't leaving there.
Actually i quite irritable when i saw this,cos i just sharing,then because i write was positive at last rogue by others.But i believe reasonable person would distinguish right from wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm sorry but I must say this. miumiu and lelele sounds like the same person. Lol.
Anyway this is just about my own personal negative experience with the Adeline outlet at Yew Tee point. I must start by saying their sales girls are pushy in trying to make people buy their products.
There was this once when I was rushing to work when I was stopped by one of the Adeline girls at the entrance of Yew Tee point. And first thing when she asked me am I free to talk, I straightaway told her no and that I'm in a rush. But she was persistent and refused to let me go.
So she said all she wanted to do is just to pass me this sample to clear my oil clogs and the sample is in the Adeline shop, which is a few steps away. So she told me all I have to do is to take a short walk over to the store so she can hand me the sample that's all. Out of exasperation to end this conversation with her, I agreed.
And instead of passing me the sample once I stepped inside the Adeline outlet, she directed me into this tiny room and closed the door. I was hesitant, definitely. Why'd someone handing you something be locking you inside a room? And again I reminded her that I was in a hurry. So she said all she wanted to do is just to teach me how to use the sample. And the noise outside the room would be distracting so she had to close the door. Anyway I hurried her to finish her instructions so I can go off.
And after closing the door, upon seeing my discomfort in being locked in the room with her, she assured me that she would NOT be selling me anything at all and that she'd be this conversation short and sweet. 2-5mins were her promise. Since I was telling her again and again I need to go off soon.
So she started going on and on about the face. About the need to get rid of oil clogs on the face etc etc. Which if you had noticed, are not related to the instructions on how to use the sample at all.
So again, I reminded her that I was in a hurry. She sensed my growing annoyance and went into her main point. Whether I would be interested in getting their 39 bucks voucher for a facial trial.
In my mind, a voucher refers to something free. But of course, I did take into consideration that she mentioned it'd be 39 dollars. So in order to go off ASAP, with an exasperated tone, I agreed to take her 'voucher', thinking that I'd only have to pay the 39 dollars on the day when I'm there for the trial since she had assured me earlier that I wouldn't be buying anything.
She came back with this receipt book with the voucher. And all along I was wondering what was it for. Anyway I only realized I had to pay for it right there and there when she asked me am I paying by cash or nets. Which in the end I did pay for it in order to go off since she wouldn't let me go off without paying for it.
There are no feel good factors at all after leaving this place. I left the place feeling forced and cheated.
Firstly, I was told that I entered the Adeline shop only to get a sample. But I ended up being locked up in the room.
Secondly I was told that I was trapped in the room so she could teach me how to use the sample. But from the beginning till ending I wasn't taught how to use the sample AT ALL.
Thirdly, she had assured me that I wouldn't be buying anything. Isn't paying for the voucher considered purchasing? Oh well.
And lastly, I was told I only had to spend 2-5mins in the room. In the end I was unwillingly held there for 15-20mins despite my many helpless attempts in telling her that I was in a hurry to go off. In total, I had wasted half an hr or more trying to regain my freedom from Adeline.
Honestly, how am I supposed to feel comfortable spending my money in a place which had more than once proven that they are pushy and full of empty promises and no regards to the consumers' timings/feelings?
Does that mean the assurance to beautiful bright clear skin will also be an empty promise?
Well I'm not sure.
Anymore reviews from the consumers who had tried their facials before?
Not from the same person of course. Lol. As in, not from the same person giving reviews as different people. Lol.

Adeline's treatment nice(i done at yew tee there)
Mayb is generation problem,i'm same with my mum ,my whole face have the problem of wart (they said is oil clogs),my mum have taken me to salon ask to do treatment but they charges us 1pc around 15 dollars,OMG so expensive ,my face around 100 pcs then how ?? At adeline here they didn't charging me the wart only paid the face treatment that 1 is F.O.C..After three times treatment ,my skin become fair-skinned ,i think is because my wart gone away.Actually i'm a lazy girl to do any take care of my face,Once a day i pass by yew tee point to buy something ,meet a girl promoted a outside.She persuade me take a voucher to try up their treatment ,but at that time i 'm afraid after do it will become worse so i ask for consider about this, but she persuasion around half an hour ,see her really sincerely, i decide give them doing the treatment ,but i didn't regret done the treatment cos really can see the different .
Unfortunately I must be stopped the treatment cos i will overseas studying 2yrs.But when i back to singapore,if my face appear any problem i must go back and find them.

Found a new place for treatment..
I'm bought the voucher for facial treatment last month .before i try the treatment i saw the comment at here ,so when i went to really frightened ,but the opposite at last i feel comfortable.A lots things cant overheard ,wanna going to try.
I went for the Adeline at Yew tee for my very first appointed trial treatment last night. I arrived Adeline they served me nicely i remember that specialist therapy called Grace ,she looks serious but beautiful .but i think that is they strategy,so i didnt smile with them.when i do the treatment cure my pimples and oil clogs, the therapist slowly explain how cause the oil colgs, i bought from that girls of ivy ,she really helps me to take out my oil clogs ,i can feel she are carefully to do my treatment ,she helps me to take out around 30 pcs ,different with the comments here, i doubtful what wrong with the customer fishy and them .
After the treatment was done and I was brought to a room and the skin specialist grace that serious but beautiful girl come in and check my skin, she said my face very weak if dont take care as well will cause infection ,maybe she very serious talking about my face problem ,i feel a bit stress but can feel that she care about my face,and she teach me how to take care at home ,before i scare get pain and swollen so i stop my facial 2 yrs,but just now i felt acceptable when do the treatment .i saw my face less redness so i ask about the follow up treatment, at the last i agree to become their members.
Actually everyone of them quite nicely ,before i go others salon they lock me at the room ,and after treatment my face become redness and swollen ,so can try their treatment not bad .I have bring my husband there next treatment ,he have a lots of wart, they show the photo of customers ,can b removing .
I believe how to you treat others will b get back the same.

I've also had bad experience with Adeline sales girl at YewTee Point branch.
Last week I was stopped by an Adeline sales girl name Ivy Tee when I on my way to back home at Yewtee point. I was told about my oil clog condition and they informed that currently they are having their new branch opening promotion with the offer of first trial voucher at SGD$39 for a Enzym treatment and will clear out all my oil clog on eye, face and neck area. Also one sample will be give away with voucher. After half hour of persuasion i agreed to purchase it since the amount is affordable. The sample was not given to me as she said there's a better sample which suit me but was then out of stock. She then took note about the specific sample on my receipt.
I went for the Adeline at Yew tee for my very first appointed trial treatment today. I arrived Adeline center 15 minutes earlier and I was served by another staff named Grace. She introduced herself nicely and seemed to understand my facial concern on acne marks. She changed my voucher from Enzym treatment to IPL treatment which uses ultra spotlight to reduce marks caused by pimples. I agreed to the amended treatment and they agreed to help me to clear all the oil clogs as stated earlier. The rooms are very narrow with the treatment machines in the middle of 2 single beds. There is no water basin in the room and i think they wash the sponge with water using pail which i consider unhygenic. As known, the face cleanser should be clean by sponge a few times and i could feel the sponge is not hygienic enough. I was pass over to a beautician named Christine and her skill is not that bad but feel kinda rushing for time or maybe that is because cheap voucher we bought and that is the level of service? Well, she served me nicely anyway.
After the treatment was done and I was brought to a small room and Grace was persuading me to take up an IPL package in 50% discount from S$400 per times if take 5 times IPL package and full set treatment will FOC with in this package, subject to if I sign up this package ON THE SPOT!
Given a $400 dollars payment i definitely have to take my own consideration into account. They asked about my concern and worries, and I told them frankly that my financial is not in a state to easily purchase a $400 treatment without consideration. Plus I've already signed facial package in Msia. Then, Ivy offered me with IPL treatment on spot area ONLY (not full face) with price $140 per times. Again I refused and explained to her it's out of my budget. Well, they still do not let it go and offer that i pay in deposit as long as I take the package with them and balance can be settled when I can afford in the future. I refuse AGAIN!
They kept persuading me to give them a chance and myself too to clean out the oil clog.
They have promised to clean out my oil clogs when i purchased their promotional vouchers which they didnt so they can use the opportunity to persuade me into signing another treatment. But as described they merely did a brief cleaning of my face which made me feel so cheated!
After many failed persuasion, Ivy's face turned impatient and unhappy and offered to me one time facial at S$68.90 where she just wanna to continue to clean out the oil clog. This confirmed my doubts on them purposely leaving over a few of the untreated oil clog in order for me to PURCHASE A SECOND facial on their shop!!!!!!!!!!
Another thing is they keep showing the receipt book and ask for second treatment date and keep asking pay by cash or Nets?
How convincing.
And yet I called my friend (I've date with friend and the 3 beautician knew about it) and told him about what happened.
I'm guess the Ivy girl overheard me on the phone and she asked me to have a few words (she already changed her uniform to casual wear where it is their business closing time). So I hang up my phone and talk again to her.
SHE TOLD ME THE MOST UNIMAGINABLE THINGS ONE CAN HEAR FROM A SALESPERSON!
She said that i was playing her from the start by me being totally uninterested in her selling. WHO WILL WANT TO BUY FROM FORCE SELLING IN THE FIRST PLACE.
After saying that she immediately took the free sample which was supposed to give me and put it back into her drawer. And immediately switch off the lights and began to leave the saloon. An indication of chasing me off indiscreetly.
I hereby implore everyone to ban that facial saloon which is totally a cheat! how can one force sell and humiliate its customers when one have no interest in purchasing their products? Even with someone who is interested will lose their interest with such horrible attitude from the sales person!

Warning! Con shop spotted!
Going in the store will make you feel as though u a sheep and get skin off your wool..
The first time i know about this beauty group is when i'm walking from bugis street to sim lim square.. I along with my friend was stop by 2 lady in black and 'drag' by them to their booth.. they kept intro about their special facial promo.. which i kept refusing.. however they kept asking about how about paying by NETs, lend from my friend, pay deposit.. and they keep putting in pressure.. but my friend was interested in facial so i decided give it a go.. Feeling abit con-ed by what they did..
My friend and i went to a new outlet at jurong (dont wish to see how the sales girls a face full of pimples with alot of thick make-up help us in doing facial) at jurong.. Facial was relaxing.. but when i'm struggling with the pain when they squeeze my black pores, they promo a dont know what $35 treatment.. i thought ok.. i'm fine with it..
However, when the whole facial thing end, the consultant AMY LIM which i later known her as the manager, put me in a room..
I was asking if i could pay by NETs for the $35, but she keep bringing out a big piece of seems like appointment thingy.. and keep pressing me to buy one of the package again.. this time she clearly said $55 ( after giving a half price.. and the fact that i'm student ).. and for ten sessions.. to my horror, she meant $55 per session.. and by then, she already took my NETs and swap it..
After getting back the room, she offer again another $35 per treatment for ten treatment and want to get my NETs again.. i said i DONT WANT IT.. and dont have enough anymore.. (she was still holding my card) but she 'offered' to help me check by swaping.. which she quickly did.. and in total, she swap amts of $350, $300, $200, $150 and lastly $100.. which cannot be process.. the papers of invaild of NETs she quickly took it and throw away 'for me'..
I was in shock the way she made me feel like no matter what she will swap the $ from my card..
but after going back the room again, she said can pay deposit of cash.. any amt.. and she took my last $20 off my wallet...
I was deeply in shock and after i back back a few block, i give them a call saying i want to cancel the whole entire treatment.. but they said cannot cancel anymore.. cuz it already process.. and they add even if can also not enough to return by cash..
It was then that i felt that i'm been con of..
in total, I paid $600 in which i cannot cancel the treatment even when it was 5min back.. i ask for their boss number but they give me reply like.. i'm the manager of the company.. any decisions made by me is final.. all this ****..
I tried many ways to get back my $ but in vain..
I had no choice but to tell others of my experience.. and treat as if i use $600 to buy a big lesson..
I will still seek for ways to get my $ back.. and will update when possible..
so all in all,
THIS IS A CON SHOP WHICH PREY ON STUDENTS
