I went for NYSS at Jurong Point with my sister. We wanted to have the $10 first time treatment with free analysis of the skin condition. However, after much persuasion from the beautician, together with my sister, we had a package worth around $3400 . My sister had 10 treatments while I had 5 treatments. They also throw in some extra like eye treatment and products. The beautician also mentioned that she had some discount coupon that she could give us too.
At first, the beauticians were very friendly and helpful but after about 2 treatments, they changed the beautician. From then on, we are like faceless client. They change beautician often and the treatment for us differ from each beautician. Some apply the product thoroughly while some did not. Some massage your back when you leave while some did not. Once, they even forgot that I was lying on the bed after they left me! You will feel cold once they finish clearing the pimple and they apply a cold lotion and a facial mask. So you can imagine my condition after lying on the bed with just a thin blanket to cover me for about one hour or more. I was freezing and shivering even!
Furthermore, the products they told us to use were not very effective and customize as they said. The beautician once said that once we undergone the package, our face condition will not recurred. However, that is not true.
Perhaps it was unwise to feel that my condition will improve drastically, however the way they promoted had raised my hopes. They said that the condition will improved after 5 treatments. However, the improvement was not enough. The eye treatment they throw in did not really remove my eye bags too. The result was truly not very visible as promoted. Her condition was worst then me and thus showed more improvement. Though my sister condition improved, it is not completely cured.
When my package ends, the beautician started hard selling making me feel that if I did not continue it shows that I was not concern about my face condition. Luckily my mother refused to pay any more money and told me not to spend any more on this company, helping me to deflect any pressure from them. The beautician also told me about a promotion that works only if I paid to continue my treatment on that day itself. She also gave me a discount coupon. However, since I had the previous experience with the beautician, I was distrustful that it was really worth it.
If they can show me prove that my skin condition did improved much, I may still consider forking out money. However, the beautician that dealt with me when I ended the treatment did not know how to operate the computer! Thus they could not show me the before and after photos.
I had expected much more from an established company. However, they did not produce the result that I desired. I was disappointed.
This was my experience with NYSS. I hope this helps you in making a decision whether to approach NYSS or not. If you decide to take a package with NYSS, I hope that you will have a better experience then me.

i had my 2nd treatment and experienced my consultant cust svc was so bad , said "i'm not he boss of this company and it's only $200 " how can a cust svc be rude. i felt really angry will give up NYSS

i've read the comments above and my sympathy to all who have suffered under the hands of NYSS. i can full comprehend your plight.
For all those considering New York Skin Solution’s (NYSS) facial treatments, here a piece of good-willed advice: DON’T!!!!! On the basis of freedom of speech in Singapore, here’s my experiences coupled with my honest opinions about their services.
You know how some beauty parlours treat you like royalty prior to signing up for a package with them, and then kick you aside after they’ve received your payment for future treatments? Well, NYSS falls into this category. Their customer service was horrible for a company in the service industry (especially the white sand’s branch!).
1. Firstly, rude and abrupt phone operators.
2. Secondly, no initiatives on their part to remind you of your next appointment (unlike various others beauty salons I have been too).
3. Thirdly, very very VERY inflexible schedules (most of the beauticians have tightly-packed schedules; in my opinion, they are biting off much more than they can chew, hence the deterioration in customer service quality).
4. Lastly, I did not have a fixed, stable consultant who was familiar my skin condition (for all those whom are not in the know about this: a consultant in beauty parlours as such, is usually assigned to every client, so that she will be familiar with your skin condition follow up on your progress consistently is aware of the products suitable for your skin develop a rapport with the clients and to maximise their satisfaction) - my friends with various others NYSS branches complained of the same issue as well!!
Sadly enough, NYSS did not provide any of these customary services for me. I personally felt their main aim was to generate profits from the public: each beautician trying to expand their clients’ base so as to earn more commission, and neglecting the satisfaction/feelings of the clients (not even placing it as second on their list in my opinion!)
Apart from the services’ flaws, their treatment itself isn’t as good/reliable as what they proposed them to be. (I signed up for a cleansing treatment for my pimply complexion...)
1. They were not thorough in extracting out all the clogged pores, which later (about 2 days later) resulted in inflammation of these pore (redness pus). I called to complain on several occasions, but they always claimed their beauticians aren’t free to treat my condition before my next stipulated appointment AND THAT IT WAS A NORMAL OCCURRENCE!!! I feel like swearing whenever I hear this pathetic excuse.
2. During the application of anti-septic right after extraction, they were not meticulous enough to clean the entire face (the nose portion was always left out). I had to remind the beautician(s) to do so, in which she would EITHER not respond and sulkily do it OR said that it didn’t matter much. I mean... You guys are supposed to be thorough and detailed and committed to your job, NOT NONCHALENT! And what’s with the attitude???!!
3. They were highly inconsistent with their treatments: sometimes I had the oxygen steam treatment to reduce the redness due to extraction, other times I didn’t. I actually had to remind them on a few occasions, to which they acted AS IF they remembered that it was part of my treatment. It was freaking obvious it slipped their mind for crying out loud!!!
Here are my grievances about NYSS. As for any improvements in my skin condition, i would say that it is NOT UP TO EXPECTATIONS because they promised so much and delivered so little. My face condition did not get any less oily or clogged even after purchasing their products and facial package. If I may assume so, it is about in the same condition as prior to these facials at NYSS! What a disappointment!!!! What a waste of money and time!!!!
Please DO NOT land yourselves in the same situation as I am currently in. This is a warning of the kind of services/treatments they provide. I have had my share of UNPLEASANT experiences with New York Skin Solutions, and I hope you guys WILL NOT fall prey to their sales gimmicks and empty promises!

they must have attitude problem .. i tot i'm the only one vitim, until now i know i'm not. hate them.. they distroy my face as well .. now i need to try claim my money back

have being to visit 3mths ago to make a trial to check it out what New York Skin Solutions treatment given to me. As i heard too much of thing abt them. As i being facing so call Acne problem as my skin is very sensitive with redness from teenager up to a working adult now, i really make no choice to give a try..
Amazingly! i really saw the diff of my changes of my condition according going through their treatment.
Firstly i did ask myself whether to believe those rumour that i heard the forum, web.. OR.. i should really give it a try before we judge anyone? My decision is to find a solutions for my face as it really being with me for more than 10yrs and NEVER solve by use any comestic product that is advised by those department store counter. As i heard from my understanding their product as they are using are natural. My advise to my friend facing problem alike with me, you can give it a try if you are really searching someone with expertise. Diff person have diff experience and judegment. THose who are facing bad experience might not cause the same.
