My horrid experience w/ True Spa begins in 06 and even until now in 08!!! hi all... im newly subscribed 2 tis forum. I'm wondering if you could provide any assistance or advice to my frustrating experience w/ TRUE SPA... AND SCT!!!!!!!! Yes!!!! Even SCT!!!!
I attended SCT's consultation many x, and even met up w/ the Referee (next level after Registra)... but he decides my case is "not worth hearing" coz my complaint is against their cust svc, and not massage svcs that the contract is all about. And so, he DISCONTINUED my complaint filing!
Horrid horrid experience and deeply disappointed w/ how that SCT Referee responded to my complaint case!
The next step I'm told by SCT is if I wana pursue further, is to go to High Court... but that will incur lots of money... from registering cost to court sessions rental...
I'm so frustrated now!!! i really feel like goin all the way to high court even dat means spending $... coz im so damn pissed w/ TRUE SPA! Pls pardon my rudeness... beyond words can describe my frustrations.
has anyone have similiar scenario as me? the Registra told me recently there was a consumer who pursued all e way 2 high court... even b4 hearin, true spa lawyers threw in the towels... compensated the consumer (no idea wats the compensation asked) n case closed.

Hi, Need some help.....i joinjed true spa 4 months ago paying a bomb for a 30 month membership period at the OUB centre. Now for some reason the centre is shutting down but True Spa refuse to provide a refund citing that the contract says no terminantion plus that i had applied to use any of their centres not the specific one at OUB. I don't think its fair coz the only reason i joined OUB coz of its proximity and when one is offered the use of multiple gyms, one will always say yes as a one off use but that cannot tie you up to the same for the 30 month membership. Is it possible to take them to the consumer courts and get a refund.

true spa masquarades as efficient, stress-free and trust-worthy service provider BUT BUYER BEWARE!
I am not a Singaporean. I am here for work.
What attracted me to Singapore is the safety, cleanliness, decency and that businesses operate legitimately as indeed this is a FINE City.
The country prides itself for its uprightness and currently tries to be a gracious society.
ALAS! a year and 2 months i have fallen prey to scammers who presented themselves as professional, trustworthy, decent and educated agents from the spa business. Offering me a spa service package that's supposed to be delivered without much hassle as going to one should be a stress-relieving experience.
The one who made me sign the dotted line promised me that I can accelerate my package and use up all the sessions anytime i want to if ever i do decide to leave the country for good in 2 months time.
HA! how can i accelerate when i cannot even book my first session lah?
I have not used any of my purchased sessions and i have asked them repeatedly to give me back my money.
WOW, the run-around experienced by the reviewers here is the same as what i am in now.
The agent Yanti gave the excuse that OM jordan is Out-Of-Town indefinitely.
The agent Jill assured me that OM Jordan knows of my case and will get back to me.
Todate, still waiting for the mysterious OM Jordan to get in touch with me.
I told them i do not need OM Jordan to contact me or talk to me. I just want my money back! They can just issue me a receipt of cancellation or a refund receipt that's all.
Yanti the agent who convinced me to get this packaged knows that i have a medical condition and does not wish to be hassled and i am trying to keep myself from being stressed and anxious.
Yanti the agent knows of my condition and she told me I NEED this package as it will HELP a lot.
I admit i am a complete idiot for trusting a decent-looking pregnant woman who seemed so NICE.
BUT I GUESS she was just happy to take my money as now she just IGNORES me and gives me a lot of LIP SERVICE that i do not need.
I just want my money back.
But the way they treated me is like I got robbed.
They easily got my money in less than an hour of talking.
NO SERVICE PROVIDED.
Getting my money back is still a pending issue.
Frustration is mounting and i do not know which Singapore Government Agency should I report this.
I guess i will have to write to Strait times Forum for the same issue.
True Spa is a blight to Singapore's image.
I truly believe this country has exceeded a lot in many ways and i hope it finds a way to protect it's people and visitors from such scams.
Service providers should be held accountable and be responsible to provide what customers have well-paid for.
Jill and Yanti (the 2 agents from true spa) who marketed the package to me seemed decent, educated and trustworthy people but I am wrong. I do not know how they can stomach scamming people when they KNOW that they cannot provide the right service.

Frankly, CASE is not much help. They just write a letter on your behalf, and that's it. SCT (Small Claims Tribunal) is much more effective.

SCT is not effective too. The registra disregard hearin my case, citing that my complaints is against their horrid cust svc, but not dat they did not fulfill contract's massage svcs!!!
