i just wanted to point out that in addition to my review earlier, they called asking me to go for a trial session (just!) under the name 'cuppage spa.' i asked whether they were under true spa before they said yes. and yes, as usual there are a gazillion slots for trialists but none for members. you have been warned.

the number used was 64386359. smart company isnt it? changing their publicised name in the hopes of swindling even more people. disgusting, filthy creatures.

do join mei in her lawsuit!

They didn't change the name but this is their 2nd outlet. Dun understand why they can have bigger biz when their customer service sucks!

Agreed! Yup I know it's their 2nd outlet, I meant they're now introducing it differently on the phone haha. Sorry should've stated it more clearly.

I read all the horror stories abt True Spa and knew it was a mistake I had made. I was already wary and so before I signed up some time last year, I made sure there was assurance from the sales consultant (Sun) that there would be no problems on overbooking and availability on weekends, etc. I remember spending quite a lot of time asking questions for these assurance which the sales consultant Sun happily assured me would not be an issue, and that I can contact her to make bookings if required.

As you can, I am writing here and there would be no need for me to repeat another bad experience of True Spa customer service. What irks me most is what happened this week.

A guy called Thomas Salem from True Spa called me up. I didn't listen properly (the guy also had some heavy foreign accent) and assumed that after months of trying to get through and trying to speak to a manager (which I have given up), they are finally getting back to me.

So happily I asked him if there was availability for two, this Saturday. "Yes, what time?". 2pm and he confirmed that it would be okay. I said I needed it for two persons and there would be no problem. As my package comes with hydrobath I asked for that also.

And this is where I realized that he is actually offering me a trial as a new customer, not knowing that I am an existing customer with an existing package. I started ranting off to him and after a heated conversation (mostly from my side - well.. he is from sales afterall), he said he will do me a favour and make the bookings for me.

5 mins later, he called to say they are fully booked. Another series of ranting about how they have slots for "new trials" but not for existing customers? You can see why I am fuming at this point. Not able to handle the situation, he referred me to his manager who seemed eager to get me off the line. I found out that the consultant Sun has left the company, and when I told him that I was assured of bookings by Sun, he told me in a nonchalant manner, "well that's why she's no longer with us." After some insistence on my side, he said he will make the bookings for me, either this week or next (he hung up before I could get his name, obviously eager to get me off the sales line so that they can call other new potential customers). That was on Wed. Today is Sat and I haven't heard from anyone since.

Pls note that they have plenty of slots available if you are a trialist and potential customer who have not signed up, but none if you are an existing customer with a paid package.

Yes, should have read all of your review before I sign up the package with them. What a mistake I have made !!

I sign up since last year Dec but till now still not able to finish as mine is just a 18 times massage *** hydrobath service. The booking is always full and phone line is either engage tone or just ringing tone but nobody answer. My working time is office hours and yet they are always fully booked for weekday after work and weekends :( I wonder should I take a halfday off just to go for their spa service.

Doing Spa suppose to relax our mind and body but have too much frustration and anger eversince I sign up with them. I wonder what we "victims" can do ??!! There are alot more of other Spa centre in Singapore which I think should be of better service of them. Just hope I can finally finish the package soon !!

My recent bad encounter... in July08, I manage to book at the frontdesk for a couple VIP room on 23rd Aug08. Although the staff has told me that they will call me to confirm the booking but so far no call from anyone. As I have to travel to Europe and was busy with my work, I totally forget nobody called me up for the appointment. And I finally remember it the day before and try to call several times to confirm about my booking but nobody answer the phone. Then on the day of my booking, which is actually my mother’s birthday and I intend to bring her along as she has never try spa before. My booking is at 11am but I try calling in since 10am until 11am, by the way, I call every single minute but nobody answer my call. Its just ringing tone until the line cut off by itself. I just hope I can get a confirmation that if my booking is confirm so that I won't have wasteful trip as I stay in the west area, I need one hour to reach Orchard. In the end, still a wasteful trip !! Before I step in, already saw one lady in front of me, also complaining of the difficulties on the booking. Its not my first time to see others complaining about this issues.

So just imagine how me and my mum get disappointed !!

By the way, my consultant just "vanished" eversince I sign up. So one "TRUE" lesson here is, once money paid, nothing can be done! Haha

you could try contacting Mei who wrote the first review on True Spa, her emails [email protected]. They're currently gonna hold a class action suit to sue True Spa and get their money back.

Getting an appointment is like striking 4D. At least yours is only 18 times. I still got at least 3K worth of massage with them.
