VivoCity (Chinese: 怡丰城) is the largest shopping mall at the HarbourFront precinct in Singapore. Opened on 7 October 2006, it marked the completion of the main structure by a topping-out ceremony on 18 April 2006 and was officially opened on 1 December 2006. Derived from the word vivacity, VivoCity, according to Mapletree Chairman Edmund Cheng, "evokes a lifestyle experience that is modern, stimulating and accessible to everyone, a place bubbling with energy and flowing with vitality". At the end of the first week of operations, the mall had received nearly a million visitors.

vivocity is indeed very huge, housing various shops. the shops pander to all sorts of people and their interests, from entertainment to delicacies. also, it is a convenient mall right on top of the harbour front mrt station. however, by the first round walking around the mall, it tends to get a little boring and unexciting.

New and huge shopping mall. And when I say "huge", I mean huge. (Well but then again, it's relative. If you've been to malls overseas, it's normal.)

The shops there range from the average shops you'd find at neighbourhood malls to the high-end shops such as Zara, as well as many new foreign brands like Gap and River Island. I would say it's a good place for shopping for teens and adults as if you have the time to cover each shop, you'll be able to find clothes of various styles and designs that would suit many.

Also, there are many food outlets there, ranging from fast-food outlets to high-end restaurants, which includes Japanese, Chinese and Western cuisine. Ideal for spending the whole day there, shopping and eating! So who needs Hong Kong when you can eat and shop in Vivo City, Singapore?

In addition, the place is very easily accessible, despite it being at Harbour Front. Not a bad place to go. (:
