VivoCity (Chinese: 怡丰城) is the largest shopping mall at the HarbourFront precinct in Singapore. Opened on 7 October 2006, it marked the completion of the main structure by a topping-out ceremony on 18 April 2006 and was officially opened on 1 December 2006. Derived from the word vivacity, VivoCity, according to Mapletree Chairman Edmund Cheng, "evokes a lifestyle experience that is modern, stimulating and accessible to everyone, a place bubbling with energy and flowing with vitality". At the end of the first week of operations, the mall had received nearly a million visitors.

      Too huge. Simply too huge.

Actually, i don't know why so many people like to go to Vivo City. Yes, it's big. But there're also a lot of empty spaces and you have to walk a long way from one place to another! Also, the shops there are mainly the high-end ones, so certainly not a place to go if you're looking for more affordable things.

The whole place is very messy as well. Sometimes i really can't find my way around. It's especially hard to find my favoruite shop, Candy Empire, if i take the bus there and go in from another entrance(not the MRt side one).

Usually, when i go to Vivo, i will just go to the sky garden and sit around. Shopping there is just to tiring and pointless for i won;t find anything.

Vivocity. The biggest shopping centre in Singapore. Sure, it's big, it's huge, but it's not exactly the best place to shop. Because it's so big, and the structure of the building is so complicating (encircling the centre), it's tiring to just shop there alone. Sometimes from this particular shop, i want to get to the other side to the other shop, i have to walk one biggg round, which is so far and tiring! It certainly makes shopping a tiring one, lots of exercising! Other than that, there are many many many shops for you to choose to shop from! From fashion apparel, accessories, entertainment to food and enrichment centres and relaxing spa(s), you will be spoilt for choices! But one problem about shopping here is that, you should bring more buckaroos along! If not there is only a limit of things you can do there.

Plus point about Vivocity: It's near Sentosa! So everytime after a fun and sunny day out at Sentosa, Vivocity can be a great place to relax at!
