    6. Comfort Taxi

    It is one job that the employees have to pay their employer just to start working. It is one job that does not provide paid medical leave, CPF and working benefits, as well as, a stable income. It sounds to me like a horrible job given the amount of money taxi drivers are earning now and the attitude they get from irate customers.

    Even though I am not particularly glad about the increased taxi charges, I realized that it is only inevitable. How do you want taxi drivers to live if amongst all of these inflation and increased costs, they do not get to charge higher prices?

    Spare a thought for them. If you want good taxi service, hop in the taxi with a smile, give clear directions and make polite conversation. Never forget to say thank you to the taxi driver once you reach the destination.

      Airasia... first time taking me to the sky and landed in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on last December..
      what a great experience and value for money..
      the air ticket was around $130 return way with baggage, insurance and meal combo.
      the air stewardess was sweet and nice..
      the seat.. was a bit cramp just like taking SBS bus..
      the food was good, i taking the nasi lemak combo and very worthy.... just $3.50 for the meal if you book

      one thing good is you pay for budget ticket but go thru a non budget terminal...Terminal 1..
      not like tiger airway, you need to go to Budget Terminal...
      recommended to go for AirAsia when there is promotion....

        8. Night Safari

        Over there, you can see the nocturnal animals coming out,actually it can be quite a challenge to see them moving around. This is manily attributed to the fact that the entire surroundings are very dim in order not to let the animals be disturbed by the lightings.

        For the more adventurous ones, they can take a slow walk and venture around to take a look at the various animals. As for those who have kids or are the lazy type, you can also take the tram ride and enjoy the guide doing the explaining during each stop. For me, i have taken both approaches before and I like to do the trekkng one more. BUt do take note that it can get quite stuffy and I did perspire quite a fair bit.

        In addition, there is also a perfomance by the "stars" of the night safari. It was a nice and enjoyable show which both kids and adults will enjoy. As the show times are quite limited, it is recommended that you go for the show before you go for your walk or tram ride.

          Went to Botak jones for dinner and as always the queue is long. My wife had fish and chips while I order their Botak Burger. And I would say the food was ok. Normal western food but the price was not. For a coffee shop food, its price was definitely not cheap. But its portion is large and I mean... REALLY LARGE. So for those small eater, 2 to 1 main dish should be good enough.

          About the food, noththing much hype about that. Just that they serve different sauce in bottle for different food. And the best is for fish and chips, they have this malt vinegar which added a new dimension to the typical fish and chips I have had so far.

          Service was so so and of course, ambience is not that condusive for a good dinning experience.

            $72 for a pair of movie ticket in a luxurious seat for 2 hours... do you think worth it??it all depends on the movie and the person next to you...
            just watch Sherlocks Holmes in GV Gold Class @ Vivocity with someone special..
            we feel very high class and the environment damn luxurious also the service staff serve u differently.. feeling like you are their super super VIP...but...
            for me, it's worth it only during special occasion like Valentine's Day, Birthday, Anniversary or etc...
            once a while is ok... if everytime go movie also Gold Class, must well save the money for travel....

            Recommended for medium working class people like me... to go once a month or 2month with a very good movie..
