hi i suggest nobody going to new york skin care solution , because their behaviour is not good with the customers. perticularly the city square mall branch is sooooooooo... worst.... its very very bad
i bought $10 voucher for facial, after going to there ,they explain lot of facial treatments and they force me to take the facial plan, i told to them first u do my facial then after if it's good i will take the plan. in that time one of the girl behaving very angry , that time we just leave the place.

I'm yet another "wishing I had seen these reviews first" person. My mum and I signed up for a customised package each at the CitySq mall outlet, and from the very start they had pestered us to upgrade our packages and buy their products. When we fought that we couldn't afford all that, they turned aggressive into selling their products. I've been pressured into buying their facial care (cleanser, toner, TWO different creams in replacement for moisturiser, a cream for acne treatment and then a powder for pimple infection) which in my honest opinion, did nothing to help my conditions. During each session, it felt like they can leave on a mask and not get back to you in time (where the mask overdries) and they are not that thorough in extractions. Most of the time I leave the centre with more open wounds than I came in with, but they said it's supposed to help. -shrugs-
So after reading people's reviews I'm actually at ease that I'm also not getting the results I was looking for. Despite their scanning and what-not (and even through scanning I can't even tell what I'm looking at, they never explain in detail), it seems that all they are doing is getting us to pay more and more for nothing that helps. Each week they add a new element of my 'deteriorating' facial condition: saying that I have skin tags now.. saying they are spreading blah blah. After a certain number of sessions I avoided using any of their products and stuck to my old routine: lo and behold the specialist in charge of my sessions said my skin was improving then (without a scanner). Thereafter I refuse to believe a word that they say to me. And I'm more convinced than ever not to sign up for any further packages or extensions. I hope more people will get to read these reviews first before they get hoodwinked into NYSS's schemes.

I bought the $10 voucher and went to the Simei branch. Initially they proposed a $2k package for 10 sessions. Then I admittedly told her that I cant afford that, so she said in that case, buy 5 session at $1k , and I told her $200 for one session is pricey. So at the end, she said okay lah.... just pay $300 for 3 sessions. So I bought it... And now everytime I went for my session, they seems to try to sell you the package. They change their words occasionally to make you sign up on the spot. I told her i want to think about it first... And they were quite aggressive... refuse to let me go home and keep telling me to sign up and sign up and sign up... well... overall the facial treatment was good but the sales approach is quite annoying.
