from what i know, there is a darkness part of sbs.

sbs employ people in. but they didn't treat them like one of their staff.

once you are someone with lotsa gd feedback from consumers, there is someone will be saying something bad on your back. the company will be finding oppunities to cut the salary. and they are rushing the drivers to reach on time at that bus-stop regardless of traffic jam. they will be blaming drivers that are late back to the interchange. rushing them on time will caused accident or injury to the consumers. this kind of job make all drivers loose of self confident and discourage drivers for gd working enviroment.

the management in sbs is not up to drivers standard. people may think that sbs salary is gd. but that is definatly not ture. only for old drivers, their salary may be up to 3000/ month when they work all day from monday to sunday with full ot. but new drivers only get up to 2000/month when they work from monday to sunday with full ot.

which is why lotsa of driver are leaving and having MC dat make sbs lack of worker. of coz they wanting to hire china worker who don't even understand singapore road or even simple english.

Singapore service quality sucks in general...could be becuz its a vicious cycle...most of us live in HDB flats for the most part behave in boorish starts right at home...putting rubbish along the common corridors, karaoke without a thot for neighbors...neighbors..another strange concept..how many of us even exchange smiles in lift...now i am not saying things are any diff in pte estates or condos...been here 37 years...its cultural conditioning that most here lacking when friendliness is concerned...even in call ctrs right up to retailers...no one even usually says"please wait" .its just wait, one second etc...i have a bunch of vendors who i bought lunch for over 3 days...no one even went up to say Thanks specifically for the lunch was i disappointed NO...its the way the people here are...they tend to be more wary when serving "ang Mor' ..maybe Korean & Japanese only. for Indians & Filipinos, thai's looked on like foreign lab...we treat other Singaporeans a bit better but in general svc here sucks...i think its starts at home...& folks when we get good service say Thank You!!...even if you get no welcome or smile..it goes some way in breaking this cycle of boorsih & rude behavior...

The quality of the buses & bus ride...that'a a commercial issue that SBS transit still struggles with ..i mean we have several nice new buses but given bad luck you are stuck in a stuffy bus...man you have my sympathies...been there done that thankfully its trains for me..not a whole lot better but at least waiting time n travel time is mostly predictatble

anyway SBS transit monopoly will erode given the govt plan to rail up most of Singapore..looks like buses will become something you take from home n a train station n when you want to sight see....fingers crossed

i take public transport everyday ....especially bus service no. 65 .....it is funny that with the fare increase and all i feel that it is still not justified for us ..... we do not need the fancy seats , the mobile tv and the branded speakers ....what we need is more seating space and shorter time intervals to avoid all the overcrowding that is really inconvenient ....i have to wait like 45minutes to an hour on certain days cos when the bus arrives its packed and cannot fit in any more passengers ...

my rating is please avoid but i guess sometimes you just cannot avoid it .....i cant take the cab everyday .....

      thank you
