I think that this is the best cinema in Singapore, with the screen uber big, big comfortable chairs for you to sit, big place for you to put your legs, large variety of food for you to choose from for you to bring inside the cinema, handles that can be pulled up at every seat, super cold environment(those people who cannot stand the coldness are adviced to put along a jacket), friendly staff and more.

i like cathay! they're clean, nice and roomy enuf for my legs (:
wads more they often have gd deals with the credit cards and student specials, so it really makes money sense to catch movies there.
though still a little sparse, the shops there are quite quaint and sell pretty special stuffs. and so i enjoy shopping and looking arnd abit just before or after the shows. u don't get the huge crowds jostling around at cathay too. oh, only prolly at the lifts. take the escalators then! and walk past the shops... give them a chance... (:

Went there for the first time in my life last 2 weeks and this place added to my interest watching the movie I watched. This place is definitely clean, brightly lit and comfortable to be in. Even my long legged husband sat comfortably in his seat. He normally felt squashed in theaters.
There are 2 booths for *** bits, drinks and food. The normal pop corn and coke and another one selling small food stuffs like cakes and sandwiches. I won't be having dinner at Secret Recipe if I've known it before hand.
However 1 glitch was my friend booked the tickets online but when he went to collect the ticket, he was told it was actually at another venue. My friend said its impossible since he double confirmed he got it at the correct cinema during the booking. Nevertheless, the crew managed to transfer the tickets over so that we won't waste our trip there.
