always a satisfying meal at hog's breath, it never fails to disappoint my carnivorous craving! with the cut so thick and juicy, i'm drooling just thinking of it now. my personal favourite has got to be the texas prime rib, love the strong-flavoured sauce!

gotta admit though that the Chijmes outlet isn't the best store to pick, especially on a weekend night. have experienced really long wait for my food to arrive as well. it's a better bet to visit on a weekday night, or you could always go to their other outlets :)

After a short wait, our dishes arrived and we tucked in. First impressions, the beef I had was very well done and the meat was tender and a little juicy. (I had ordered it medium well)The sides were nothing to shout about though. The hog tail fries tasted like the curly fries from MacDonalds and the salad looked like it could use some sprucing up. I managed to try some of my gf's chicken and it tasted kinda weird with peachy-mangoey sauce on top of the chicken. The sauce tasted like those you would find in puddings.

My take on this one? The beef is good, but only the beef. Didn't get to try the dessert as we had plans to head on to Haagan Dazs after that. The waitresses were friendly, but a little lacking in service. I ordered a refillable glass of Coke and I had to wait for quite some time to even see a waitress to get it filled up. Nice laid back atmostphere though.

Last week I was looking for a place to take beefsteak and I chance upon Hog's Breath Cafe (CHIJMES) thru Yebber. Yebber is quite a good source for dining out information. Read a few good comments about it and thought I gave it a try. Overall I was disappointed with the place. Firstly price of the food did not match the quality. It was a bit to pricey. Preparation of the food took too long. Must say the waiter did provide quite prompt serivce in getting extra cutleriy and serving us water upon our request. The ambience is nothing great and it was worsen when 2 waiters were arguing infront of the cashier counter. We spent an average $30/- each for 4 of us after a 15% discount using UOB credit card. I guess this will be my first and last time at this place. I am sure there are better steakplaces around. Shall continue to search thru YEBBER....

We went there on a Saturday night for a birthday celebration. We thought it might be crowded and place a booking before we go. As usual, we were late and we thought the people from the restaurant will call to remind us or even cancel our booking. To my supprise, no one called.
When we arrived, we leave the car to the valet since we were late without knowing it cost $10 for the one and half parking.

I was expecting a restaurant with nice ambience because I can see there are few restaurant crowded with people and live performances. Unforetunately, this one turn out to be very normal. It is divided into 3 sections, 1 outdoor and 2 indoor. We selected the indoor section.

The seat is rather uncomfortable and the counter is just next to our seat. We ordered some steak, salad, sandwiches and drinks. We asked for a well done and a medium rare. We waited quite long for our food to be served. First we were served with the well done steak followed by the medium rare steak after 10 minutes interval. And we have to ask the waiter what happen to the sandwich before we were being served. The medium rare steak turn out to be rare.

It was not very crowded and I do not think it should take so long for our food to be served and I also do not think the blackened steak worth $34. I believe there are better steaks from other fast food chain.

The total damage is about $180 for 4 person. It is not a disaster but we did not enjoy the food.

After dinner at Miss Carity Cafe, we ended up at Hog’s breath. We ordered two glass of ice lemon tea and coke at $5.80 each, they are fillable which means we can have as many glass as we want. We also ordered Finger food combo (buffalo wings, fried chicken, baked potato skin) because we can’t just sit there whole night only order two glass of drinks? ( :

The spicy-sweet sauce and the tartar sauce is good, the combo cost $17.95. Total bill for watching the boring FA Cup is $34.45 for 3 person. Had a quick glance at Hog’s menu, most of the food price range is in the high $10s to $20s. There is a dessert called mud pie which seems quite good, and many of the other diners had it, so i guess its quite good.

Been to Hog's Breath several times, and by-far still one of my favourite restaurants. They have very interesting pictures such as : " 4 out of 4 pigs agree, eat more beef!"

Their steak is a must-try for anyone craving for a hearty meal. I normally order Text-Mex Combo ($26.00), which includes: Chicken or chunky Beef chimichanga and a grilled sirloin steak on Cajun rice. Topped with cheese sauce and tomato salsa. Served with a salad garnish and Hog Tail fries.

Generous food portion whereby i usually cannot finish.. Ambience is cosy and comfortable and can be booked for birthday party etc. I celebrated mine with about 10 other friends, and all left the place happy and satisfied. Staffs are no doubt friendly..

They do have other branches at Holland V and Vivo city. Do give it a try..

I love the steak at hogs breath! And it's not expensive! I love the ambience there too...

If you feel like eating more... U can opt for the bigger portion at a very reasonable price...

Personally I will recommend this place for special occassion... e.g. anniversary, birthday....

If I didn't remember wrongly... There's 20% for early birds... (reach the resturant b4 7pm)
