Tako Kimchi   Agedashi Tofu   Cha Siu Ramen   Spring Onion Ramen   Chicken Karage
I was freaking hungry (as usual) one day while shopping at Centerpoint with my Dear Dear. We saw this unique place at the corner and so we decided to try their food.

I had Ramen with spring onions. When it first came, the spring onions were like they are meant as garnishes, rather than the main ingredients. I had to ask them to add more. The taste is normal. I cannot say its awful, just normal. The Char Siu was damn fattening. I saw lots of Fats….. so I passed to my Dear Dear to eat (as usual).

I do like this Tako Kimchi. Very flavourful.

My Dear Dear had Char Siu Ramen. The soup base is not bad. And yes, the Pork was FATTENING!

My Dear Dear likes their Agedashi tofu. Coz he loves tofu, and their sauce is just right - not too salty.

Their Chicken karage is lousy. Very hard & dry. The marinate is like only have soya sauce and pepper. Nothing else.

We tried their grilled Shitake mushroom. Not too bad. I guess they are still the best with their Yakitori. :p

BTW, I was pester by food flies while having dinner there. We complained to the staff and she said - It’s common. o.O

      37. Threadless Tees

      I love Threadless too!

I got to know this online shop from my colleagues. She always buy it when they are having sales. Yes, it can go as low as USD 5 but you cannot expect to have your sizes.

I am a bit cheapstake so I will always opt for the cheapest courier. Hence, I need to wait like a month or so to get my package.

The size of the tshirt sometimes do varies with the design. A group of us bought the same size but different design and end up in different size cutting.

They not only have adult size, but also baby and kids! If you have kids, you can get one design for whole family! Haaaa... :p

Another I like about them is you get to vote for the designs. :)

Stall at Ngee Ann City Basement   dongdaemun2.jpg   Fried Chicken   Rice Cakes
I walked pass this Korean eatery alot of times. Dun dare to try at all. Coz dunno nice or not.

One day, I went to VIVO City, I was tempted by the variety of items they sell, so I tried.

MASHITA!!!! I bought the Fried Chicken, Stir Fried Rice Cake, Chicken Ball and Pork Ball. I dun really like the ‘Balls’, dun like their texture. I love the Rice Cake and Fried Chicken!

Unlike Shilin Market’s, the Fried Chicken uses the Chicken Leg, not Breast. It’s tender and Juicy! The marinate is the Korean Bulgogi style. Mashita!!!

The Rice Cake looks spicy, but it’s not that spicy at all! It has additional ingredients like cabbage and fish cake. It has a unique sweet and spicy taste. Very interesting! I even have two helpings per day!

Dong Dae Mun’s meat bbq on stick are delicious too! Especially the Chicken Stick. You can choose to add mayo or chili sauce or both. But i prefer to eat it on its own. The bulgogi marinate is enough to make you craving for more! 3 for $2.50. Worth it!

But different branches has different standards. :p

         Appetizer   Duck Noodles
I rarely can find Thai Resturant serving authentic Thai Duck Noodles.

So I was quite surprise to see it on the menu of Thai Accent at Vivo.

I almost finish the whole bowl with the soup. Serving is quite big. I like the herbal taste. Lots of bean sprouts and Carrots. Yum Yum.

I tried their appetizer platter too.

The mango salad is good. Very sour & Spicy. Very appetizing. The fish cake is so-so. I like the little golden bags and spring rolls. The meat in the golden bags taste like meat balls… which I think its really meat ball. :p The spring rolls are crispy and juicy within.

I will go back and try other stuff!

BTW, Standard Chartered Credit card holders get 15% off the bill. But I am not sure when the promotion will ends.

         Chargrilled Chix   Prime Cut   Wagyu
Recently went to Astons Specialties at East Coast for a meal. It was highly recommended by my friend. But I dun eat beef, so I have to go for their Chickens.

The queue was freaking long. The main reason is that they served ‘good’ and cheap western food. I personally find it so-so. The price starts from SGD5.90 for a set that comes with 2 sides.

Chargrilled Chicken - It reminds me of Hans. The chicken chop is a bit too tough. I like the bake beans though. The pasta salad is well prepared. Not too dry.

My Dear ordered for their Prime Cut. He said it’s good and better than the wagyu beef that my friend had. Wagyu Beef - He forgot how much he is paying for it. - $38.90 Cannot compare lah… :p
